The Australian Christian Lobby was the rising star on the political lobby scene. Managing Director, Brigadier Jim Wallace, and his team had influenced some significant victories for the Christian constituency. But despite the caliber of the team and the cause, further growth was restricted by lack of staff, funding and the time to continually oversight strategic direction.

Capacity Builders created the ‘Draw the Line’ event as an avenue for ACL to introduce new donors to the organisation and deliver on fundraising targets. Many believed it would be near impossible to get donors to give to a lobbying group, however we carefully crafted the messaging for the events, positioning ACL as a nimble, strategic operator achieving significant wins.
The DVDs powerfully showcase the big successes and personalise the policy with real-life stories of how political decisions about political decisions affect real Australians.
Now in its fourth year, ‘Draw the Line’ is being replicated well beyond the one national dinner, making the most of the resources created to bring in maximum results. The dinners are run in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth and are then rolled out in a number of smaller forums around the country.
