Capacity Builders was engaged by the mission and justice arm of the Uniting Church in Australia to embark on a strategic planning process that would engender genuine ownership and bring clarity.

‘Mission accomplished’ as we brought together staff and supporters from around the country to contribute, refining their feedback and identifying compelling outcomes into a strategic plan that will see transformation of communities in Australia and overseas through purposeful partnerships.

The insightful brand strategy saw the two organisations – Uniting International Mission and Uniting Church Overseas Aid – aligned as one:

The emphasis on partnerships has brought new direction and clarity to the organisation. All communication is now centred around the core distinctive of connecting churches and organisations in Australia with others in Asia Pacific.

Donors and other key stakeholders have embraced this new approach and giving is consistently growing, as awareness is raised around the country.
